Below are answers to some of the frequently asked questions about the ZoomBugs, buggy friendly fitness classes.  If you can’t find what you’re looking for, please do not hesitate to contact me.

What do ZoomBugs bootcamp classes contain?

ZoomBugs bootcamp classes are instructor led sessions, designed to gradually improve fitness and strength to deal with the daily demands of parenting!

Each session will focus on different strength areas, with the goal of improving your mental and physical wellbeing in a fun, supportive and encouraging community.

Exercises will offer differing levels to cater for all abilities with dynamic warm up, thirty minutes of functional movement, including cardio and strength/toning. It is not a bootcamp style, fast paced session. All moves are explained and delivered at a pace to suit you and your class members.

PLEASE NOTE: It is important that you have had your six week (sometimes a little later if delivery was via c section) via your GP and they have given the approval for you to return to exercise.

When are classes held?

Term time on Mondays

Two classes to choose from:

10.15-11am

11.15 - 12pm

Bayston Hill Memorial Hall, Lyth Hill Road, Bayston Hill, SY3 0DR

What do I need to bring?

You just need yourself, comfortable clothes, trainers and water for hydration.

Please also bring a towel and/or yoga mat for floor work and whatever baby needs to be comfortable, if you are bringing a little one.

There is a toilet, changing facilities and free parking on site.

There is no requirement to bring your pushchair/pram into the building.

Can I bring my child?

This is entirely up to you and your circumstances.

Children of all ages are welcome, however these classes are specifically for those in the postnatal period and all parents are responsible for their little ones at all times.

Babies/little ones can be a fun 'accessory' to weight elements of classes!

Do I have to be in good shape to come along?

Not at all! All exercises will have a choice of intensity level and you can choose what works for you and your goals. Whatever this is, it will be your goal and you should see a steady improvement in your fitness throughout the weeks.

How much is a class?

Classes are £30 per six week block (£5 per class). Classes are limited to ten per class.

Block booking helps me to ensure class continuity and to know numbers, but also ensures you commit to a short programme to gain in strength and confidence with your little one.

I am a qualified UKA Coach in Running Fitness (CiRF) with a number of years of experience coaching running fitness in group settings. I am also a qualified level three postnatal exercise and nutrition instructor.

Where is the ZoomBugs Community?

I am hoping that over time, ZoomBugs helps to create a strong, safe, friendly and welcoming community for all ladies, allowing them to access an inclusive exercise community to boost physical and mental wellbeing. You may even make some new friends along the way!

I'm interested! What do I do now?
